Hello All!
Welcome to a Devotional Wednesday
What keeps you going in the LORD?
Let's get into this Month's Theme...
My Obedience to Fruitfulness
Scripture: Acts 20: 17 to 38
Observation: Paul, a bold and courageous man of God, worked very hard as a minister.
He moved fearlessly in obedience answering the call of God upon his life to do his will.
Just like St. Paul, God tells us not to fear, but to trust in him and move with all boldness of Faith believing he is with us.
Don't be ashamed to speak of God's goodness publicly or privately. Be ready to bless others with the good news of Christ, because it is God's will. God wants to use his children to stand in the gap for others; both the saved and the unsaved. God wants to use you!. In answering the calling of God in one's life there are trials and temptations ahead, but, remember God is with us and we must be bold like St. Paul.
Thank God for the promise of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit gives Strength to continue doing God's work. In everything we must be thankful and be content with what we have, as we know that God has blessed us. As blessed children of God we must extend hands of mercy to bless others.
Application to Life: I like to say I belong to a faith community and am so very thankful to be part of one. It is essential to be plugged into a church, ministry or to be surrounded by faithful people of God. It helps to build your spiritual life and increase one's faith in Christ Lord Jesus.
Prayer: In the name of Jesus, every fear and doubt in the way of God’s calling in my life be destroyed by Holy Ghost Fire! Holy Spirit fill me with the boldness, wisdom and strength to continue seeking God. Amen.
