Living For His Glory!

We know that everything is for the Glory of God! Now we too must glorify him and we will see how his word tells us to do that.

Colossians 3: 23

God is glorified in everything: including us as part of his creation. We as God’s creation must bring glory to him because of who he is. How do we do this? God tells and commands us to love him with ALL our mind, soul, and heart. Ask your self how much/what are you giving to God? We live our Christian life sacrificially (romans 12:1) by honoring God with how we live to bring him glory. We must learn to put God first in all we do; prioritize him, have him in mind first (Matthew 6:33). In everything you do or say, think how it will bring glory to God. In your plans and choices how will your desires glorify God (Colossians 3:17, 23).

Application to Life: You can always ask the question in your day to day.

1) What did God say you should do?

2) What does God want you to do?

These questions can be specific to anything in your life. I realize that our Christian life should not feel dull, heavy or like a chore, but it is meant to be lived honestly in our strong-willed desire for Christ. We should live to give 100% of ourselves to God in Joy of everything.

Prayer: Dear God, Empower me by your Holy Spirit to live my life in glory of you, completely surrendered to you. In Jesus name, Amen.
