Every year has it’s own battles, We’ve battled Covid, Division, Confusion, Hate and Oppression of the wicked. We got to keep fighting for goodness like Soldiers and keep loving! Alright! 💪

Can you believe this year Is almost over?!!! 😆

Let’s get right into this month’s theme; Soldiers for Christ: Living for Christ!

Our Scripture is 2 Timothy 2: 3-5 14-26 and The Connection Verse is ecclesiastics 12 &11:9-10

In this scripture (2 Tim 2) I see that God wants us to be useful to him. To do the will of God and be able to witness him to others takes some discipline. In being disciplined to do the work of God there is preparation and training involved like anything that needs study. As believers our lives should be exemplary to others ----- this is shown by how we speak, engage with others, in abstaining from worldly pleasures or fleshly desires (“youthful lusts”) and in speaking of truth of God’s words and promises. As we abide and live in righteousness we are being purged from all evil ways, being made a tool for God’s purpose. Also this scripture teaches us how to keep peace and avoid arguments of no value or that cause more trouble than good. It touches on ungodly speaking.

Application to Life: I understand this scripture for my life, to know that my character and how I live is best to attract and win the unbeliever. The way I speak and live my life is enough to attract others to God’s love and goodness.

Prayer: God teach me to live by example and to speak with love and wisdom. In Jesus Name! Amen!
