What is your idea of Leadership? What comes to mind?

Leadership and the Characters of a leader. What does being a leader mean to you?

“Leadership starts with you the individual and it can start wherever you find yourself ".

---It Takes Discipline and the Willingness to Serve to be a Leader---.”

I was sitting around one day and this idea had just came to me about leading and leadership.

Well, my understanding of leadership and the idea of being a leader by its character goes like this...

Leadership does not have to be hard or this big thing.

Leadership can start small, very small.

· Leadership starts within the individual, it starts from your mind and heart: your thoughts and feelings. It takes discipline to be a leader and that starts within. You have to learn to control your thoughts and emotions and not let them to control you. Fostering positive and right thoughts and feelings takes effort.

Proverbs 4: 23- [Above all things guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it] NIV

· You can lead when you are by yourself by being disciplined in your actions; what you do, when no one notices. You can lead by doing the right thing even when no one is there.

Colossians 3:24-23- [Whatever you do, work with all your heart, as working for the lord, not for human masters. Since you know you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving] NIV

· Leadership doesn’t need to be elaborate. You don’t need a stage, a crowd, a mic, a building, a reason. It can be very simple.

· Leadership can start with your family, your friends, your loved ones, your community. Leadership start at any place and at any moment.

· Leadership starts with you the individual and it can start wherever you find yourself.

---It Takes Discipline and the Willingness to Serve to be a Leader---

!I hope this interpretation of leadership and what it takes to lead inspires you all!

Thank you!

Be Blessed!
