Hello to All! 💖

Welcome to another devotional Wednesday

Let's get into it!

The Theme is... JUDGMENT FOR REBELLION

SCRIPTURE: ROMANS 1

OBSERVATION: God who is Omnipresent is evident in every place and with every person. The gospel ( good news of Christ Salvation gift) is being and was preached all over the world. From the beginning of the early and founding Christians, the gift of salvation; God’s power to save  has been told 1st in the Middle-East  and the rest of the world. Today in our present time; the warning of God told in Paul’s letter  to the Church of Rome in Romans Chapter 1 is still very current and active these days. Looking at the world today as a christian, it is obvious that there is a great moral decay going on among  people and cultures. An increase of all moments of evil happening, even openly and normalized.  People know or hear about Jesus and the “good news”; the Judgment for immorality and evil in the world is known or heard by those practicing such things. The word of God speaks against this out right and blatant disobedience to God’s  commandments and truth. God  says that these people who know that God exists and is against such things, have no excuse (Rome 1:20) they will be Judged.  Because of idolatry (worshiping anything/ revering anything more than or above God).  God  allows the hearts of such unrepentant sinners to more sin and unnatural desires as they want to. For example; people that reject God and align their ways with that of the world are given  are given to the things of the world: Homosexuality, wickedness, evil, greed, wrongdoings/ destructiveness, envy,  murderous, rivalry, betrayals, hatefulness, gossiper, scandalous, ungrateful, hasty, boastful/prideful, imagining and scheming evil rebelling against parents. Also they are  without compassion or just reasoning, faith and pure evil. These people that go on to practice these evil ultimately hate God and know fully what they’re doing is wrong and can die. They do the unthinkable/unnatural and  ungodly evils and also spread the practice of it influencing others in evil ungodly ways. This is God’s Judgment for those who abandon him and his truth.  They will continue in their evil and multiply in it. This is especially  true if they remain unrepentant.

APPLICATION: The 1st commandment  is as such, “ you must serve no other God but me”.

Acknowledging God in everything  makes him a priority in our lives. Giving God thanks and praise is important as a way to acknowledge  his goodness and saying he is your God , your source. I am doing this more often: Although I still complain about troubles to family/people I know that God is first to tell troubles to, not man. Also it is best to turn complaints to thankfulness or words of gratitude. Anything in our lives can come before God; therefore we must always make room for God, even in the details of our lives and be thankful.

PRAYER: God Almighty, bless my heart and mind to always remember you in my life and days and be thankful. In Jesus name. Amen
