The theme for this month’s is, Gifts of the Holy Spirit. 🎁🕊️

Key Scriptures: Romans 12:3-8, 1 Corinthians 12:1 - 11, Ephesians 4:11-13

Observation: The spiritual gifts are given only through the power and evidence of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:2-3). Because the Holy Spirit is the witness to God in the life of Christians; therefore, everyone has a gift that they must grow in and use. The spiritual gifts are not for self or only for your good. We must as believers use our gifts to 1: Serve God and build up the body of Christ (the church) by working according to the ability of faith God has empowered us to (Romans 12:3-6). Then, 2: we must use our spiritual gifts to build each other so the body of Christ will grow increasing in Knowledge of God unified and mature (Ephesians 4:11). Now, 3: we must love each other with our spiritual gifts by speaking truth and working lovingly ( Ephesians 4:15-16). So what spiritual gifts exists according to God’s word.

Application to Life: I wasn’t always sure about my spiritual gifts and didn’t know if I was using them. But for 2 years now I have been observing and studying on my spiritual gifts. I observed that I am naturally good at and enjoy meeting people’s needs by encouraging, teaching, and having supernatural faith for others and for my life. Other gifts are the gifts of service and knowledge. Get to know by study, reflection, application, what your spiritual gifts are.

Prayer: Oh God abba Father, let your Holy Spirit power in me reveal what my spiritual gifts are so I can serve you and love others better.
